Thanks to its short 60.4-inch wheel base, low center of gravity, high ground clearance, low wet weight and generous steering lock angle, the Police 1000 has an exceptionally tight turning radius. Safety features include special bead retention "run-flat" 18-inch tires mounted to low-maintenance cast spoke wheels. In addition, upgraded front disc brakes include twin opposed-piston calipers. Law enforcement features include standard pursuit lights, high-visibility turn signals, rubber-isolated rear carry rack plus rear marker lights.
